Ye Olde Reindeer Inn, Banbury Public House

Whilst you stay at our Banbury Bed and Breakfast why not go and visit Ye Olde Reindeer Inn – dating back to the 15th century and possibly offering the best pub food in the market town of Banbury.  Tables near log fires are particularly popular during the winter months.

The atmospheric inn is of great local historic importance.  Oliver Cromwell held court in the pub, arranging future battles.  There are high beams, wooden floors and benches and the famous Globe Room, the panelling of which was held at the Victoria and Albert Museum until 1946 and has now been returned.

A warm, welcoming and relaxing pub, it also sells mulled and fruit wines.  There is a popular lunchtime menu of home-cooked food available.  The pub wins awards for its flower displays and has a courtyard for summer drinking.  Chess and Aunt Sally can be played.
