Silverstone Moto GP weekend Silverstone's return to the series for the first time since the 1980s, will happen on June 20. Make a complete weekend of it by booking two or three night's accommodation - Friday, 18th, Saturday, 19th and Sunday, 20th June. Enjoy the comfort of Hanwell House and it's only a twenty minute drive to the Silverstone race circuit. My three rooms are now fully booked but I do have one other room available, fondly known as 'The Last Resort'. It doesn't have all the same comforts and furnishings, but it does have a comfortable bed, shared bathroom facilities and you get the same wonderful breakfast as everyone else in the house - give Jan a call if you are interested
	Hobby Horse Festival Saturday, 3rd and Sunday, 4th July Banbury Hobby Horse Festival extends an open invitation to all hobby horses and related animals, plus companions, to have a great time at each year's gathering. The festival provides a rare opportunity to perform alongside groups of dancers with traditions stretching back centuries - and their hobby horses, of course. They have around 40 animals each year. The atmosphere is extremely convivial, and the pace fairly relaxed. As well as general horsing about and processing spectacularly through the pleasant market town of Banbury, they have music and song sessions, talks and great food. There are also community events
Silvestone Grand Prix Weekend Thurday 8th, Friday, 9th, Saturday, 10th and Sunday, 11th July, 2010. Three or four nights accommodation with complimentary bottle of wine during your stay. Enjoy the comfort of Hanwell House with a festival Formula 1 Grand Prix atmosphere. Enjoy an early morning breakfast to set you up for the rest of your extremely exciting day at the Silverstone Race Circuit. Due to a cancellation I have one room still available which can be a twin room or a double-bedded room. It does also have the advantage of adding an extra bed to make a three-bedded room if necessary. I also have one other room available, fondly known as 'The Last Resort'. 	Cropredy Festival Thursday 12th, Friday, 13th and Saturday, 14th August - three night's accommodation with warm dry beds, gallons of hot water and a great breakfast to set you up for the day ahead. We are one of the closest bed and breakfasts to the festival and a local bus will take you and bring you back to the Festival from the bottom of the road. Banbury Canal Day Saturday, 2nd and Sunday 3rd October - two night's accommodation where you can enjoy the Cotswolds in Autumn and go into Banbury Town Centre on the Sunday to enjoy all that the Canal Day has to offer. During the day there is a programme of traditional dance and music, boat taxi services, boat trips northbound Sovereign Wharf, vintage double-decker bus rides from Bays 1 and 2 in the bus station and from Compton Road. There are also horse and cart rides plus Falconer and children’s activities in Spiceball Park. The Sealed Knot Living History Encampment is on Bridge Street Park and a Folk Festival takes places in the General Foods Garden. There are demonstrations by Blacksmith’s, chandlery and canal crafts at Tooley’s and Sovereign
