Visit the beautiful Broughton Castle on Easter Sunday afternoon. Broughton Castle opens for the year on Easter weekend and is open on Easter Sunday and Easter Monday between 2.00 p.m. - 5.00 p.m. Normally the Castle only opens on Sunday, Bank Holiday Mondays and Wednesday afternoon as Lord and Lady Saye and Sele reside there, but you are very likely to find them as your tour guides as they love chatting to members of the public who wander around their lovely home and gardens.
Silverstone Moto GP weekend - 2012 Silverstone's return to the series for the third time since the 1980s, will happen on June 16th / 17th. Make a complete weekend of it by booking two, three or four night's accommodation - Thursday 14th, Friday 15th, Saturday 16th and Sunday 17th June. Enjoy the comfort of Hanwell House bed and breakfast Banbury and it's only a twenty minute drive to the Silverstone race circuit. We have a map giving a sneaky back route which avoids all the main road traffic!
	Hobby Horse Festival Saturday, 7th and Sunday, 8th July, 2012 Banbury Hobby Horse Festival extends an open invitation to all hobby horses and related animals, plus companions, to have a great time at each year's gathering. The festival provides a rare opportunity to perform alongside groups of dancers with traditions stretching back centuries - and their hobby horses, of course. They have around 40 animals each year. The atmosphere is extremely convivial, and the pace fairly relaxed. As well as general horsing about and processing spectacularly through the pleasant market town of Banbury, they have music and song sessions, talks and great food. There are also community events. This year they will be celebrating their Twelfth Hobby Horse Festival Come and stay at Hanwell House b & b Banbury for a relaxing weekend As this clashes with the Silverstone Grand Prix we only have three-night accommodation available - either Thursday, Friday, Saturday or Friday, Saturday, Sunday nights

	Silverstone Classics Weekend - dates still to be confirmed Friday 20th, Saturday 21st and Sunday 22nd July, 2012 - three nights b and b accommodation in Banbury. Enjoy the wonders of Formula 1 cars of the past racing on both Saturday and Sunday. A fabulous weekend away.
2012 Olympics Friday, 27th July - Sunday, 12th August, 2012. We are producing a new page for the Olympics so keep looking and it will be up and running very shortly
	Cropredy Festival Thursday 9th, Friday 10th and Saturday 11th August. 2012 - three night's b and b accommodation in Banbury with warm dry beds, gallons of hot water and a great breakfast to set you up for the day ahead. We are one of the closest bed and breakfasts to the festival and a local bus will take you and bring you back to the Festival from the bottom of the road. We are already fully booked for this very popular weekend but do please try again for next year
Banbury Canal Day Saturday, 1st and Sunday 2nd October, 2012 - two night's bed and breakfast accommodation where you can enjoy the Cotswolds in Autumn and go into Banbury Town Centre on the Sunday to enjoy all that the Canal Day has to offer. During the day there is a programme of traditional dance and music, boat taxi services, boat trips northbound Sovereign Wharf, vintage double-decker bus rides from Bays 1 and 2 in the bus station and from Compton Road. There are also horse and cart rides plus Falconer and children's activities in Spiceball Park. The Sealed Knot Living History Encampment is on Bridge Street Park and a Folk Festival takes places in the General Foods Garden. There are demonstrations by Blacksmith's, chandlery and canal crafts at Tooley's and Sovereign
