Our Guest House Rooms at Hanwell House, Banbury
Each room is individually designed, decorated and furnished and all named after local battles – one from the Wars of the Roses (1455-85) and two from the English Civil War (1642-51) making our bed and breakfast accommodation quite unique.
Hanwell House bed and breakfast has three rooms all with private bathroom facilities, two with en-suite shower rooms and one with its own private bathroom with bath and separate shower.
Tea, coffee and hot chocolate facilities are available in all rooms, as well as bottled water, remote control flat screen televisions with Freeview and DVD player, clock radios, hairdryers and quality toiletries. We offer a small library of DVD’s for our guests to use while they are staying with us

named after the Battle of Cropredy Bridge (1644) during the English Civil War. The Cropredy Room is our largest room and overlooks the landscaped back garden. It has recently been decorated and transformed into a luxury bedroom with kingsize bed. It has a beautiful large en-suite shower room with quality toiletries, fluffy towels and a fabulous shower.
named after the Battle of Danesmoor, also known as the Battle of Edgecote Moor (1469) which marked the last Lancastrian victory before the deciding Battle of Bosworth in the War of the Roses (1455-85) This is a twin-bedded room overlooking the front of the house, with a view over fields and the new cricket pitch. This room has its own private bathroom with bath and separate shower.

Our rates include a choice of full English breakfast with British bacon and sausages, fried, poached or scrambled free-range eggs etc and a selection of fruit juices, cereals and fresh fruit.
Wherever possible we try to support local, British produce. Vegetarian guests and guests with special dietary requirements are also well catered for.
