Our Guest House Rooms at Hanwell House, BanburyEach room is individually designed, decorated and furnished and all named after local battles – one from the War of the Roses (1455-87) and two from the English Civil War (1642-52) making our bed and breakfast accommodation quite unique. Hanwell House b and b has three rooms all with private bathroom facilities, two with en-suite shower rooms and one with its own private bathroom with bath and separate shower. Tea, coffee and hot chocolate facilities are available in all rooms, as well as bottled water, remote control flat screen televisions with Freeview, clock radios, hairdryers and quality toiletries. Free Wi-fi access is accessible in all rooms. |

Danesmoor Room....named after the Battle of Danesmoor, also known as the Battle of Edgcote Moor (1469) which marked the last Lancastrian victory before the deciding Battle of Bosworth in the War of the Roses (1455-87) This is a double-bedded room overlooking the front of the house, opposite fields, woodland and the new cricket pitch. This room has its own private bathroom with bath and separate shower. |
