Our Rooms

Our Guest House Rooms at Hanwell House, Banbury

Each room is individually designed, decorated and furnished and all named after local battles – one from the War of the Roses (1455-87) and two from the English Civil War (1642-52) making our bed and breakfast accommodation quite unique.

Hanwell House b and b has three rooms all with private bathroom facilities, two with en-suite shower rooms and one with its own private bathroom with bath and separate shower.

Tea, coffee and hot chocolate facilities are available in all rooms, as well as bottled water, remote control flat screen televisions with Freeview, clock radios, hairdryers and quality toiletries.

Free Wi-fi access is accessible in all rooms.

Cropredy Room....

named after the Battle of Cropredy Bridge (1644) during the English Civil War. This room overlooks the landscaped back garden and has a large en-suite shower room. 

Cropredy Room....

Guests can either book this room as a Super Kingsize bedroom or with twin beds whichever is preferable.

Danesmoor Room....

named after the Battle of Danesmoor, also known as the Battle of Edgcote Moor (1469) which marked the last Lancastrian victory before the deciding Battle of Bosworth in the War of the Roses (1455-87) This is a double-bedded room overlooking the front of the house, opposite fields, woodland and the new cricket pitch. This room has its own private bathroom with bath and separate shower.

Edgehill Room....

named after the Battle of Edgehill (1642) during the English Civil War. This slightly smaller room overlooks the landscaped back garden and has its own en-suite shower room.

Our rates include a choice of full English breakfast with British bacon and sausages, free-range eggs and a selection of fruit juices, cereals and fresh fruit.

Wherever possible we try to support local and British produce. Vegetarian guests and guests with special dietary requirements are also well catered for.
